Adding Schema Tags

Step 1: Navigate to Milestone Schema Manager in the left navigation panel.

Step 2: Click on 'Tag Schema' in the 'Tag / View' option in the left navigation panel.

Step 3: Click on the '+' icon in the Actions column corresponding to the webpage to which you wish to add schema. This will redirect you to the Milestone Schema Editor.

Step 4: If this is the first time you are adding schema to the webpage you will see the ‘Choose a Schema Type to Start with’ menu. The schema types displayed here are suggested based on the industry.

Step 5: Upon selecting a schema type the editor will display the most relevant schema properties for that particular schema type.

Step 6: To tag the elements on your website with the property, simple click on the website section you wish to tag and click on the property. For example, if you wish to tag a description on a page, click on the description and it will be highlighted in orange. Then click on the property 'Description' and it will automatically get copied or tagged.

To remove tagged data, click on the 3 dots by the property and click on 'Removed Tagged Data'.

If you wish to add a property to tag, click on the 'Add Property' icon.

Once you have tagged or chosen the required property fields from the drop-down, click on 'Validate' to generate the schema code and validate it. You could choose to just save the schema type and tags by clicking on 'Save'.

You can choose to publish the schema type to the URL by clicking on 'Publish'.
