Multi-lingual Translation

Milestone AI Content Studio has 20 languages to choose from. Here's how you can translate your content into multiple languages.

Step 1: To translate an article into a foreign language start by clicking on ‘Translations’ at the top right of the editor.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Add’ dropdown menu, select the languages and click on ‘Translate Now’.

Step 3: The status of the translation will be displayed corresponding to the language.

Step 4: Once the translation is done, simply click on the language and the editor will display the translated version of the content.

Step 5: You can make edit the translated article but these changes will not reflect in the other translations for the content.

Step 6: Edit the primary language for the article to make changes across all translations. In this case the primary language is ‘English’, so any changes made to the English version of the content can be synced with all the other translations. The primary language will be displayed at the top of the language selector.

You will be prompted in the language selector is you make any changes to the primary language. This will allow you to sync these changes across all the translations.

Click on the ‘Sync’ button to sync the changes across languages.

You will be notified that any custom changes to translated article that are not present in the primary language will be overwritten. Click on ‘Proceed’ to update the translations.
