MUST READ: Key screens and functionality

Let’s take you through the key screens where all the content curation takes place on Milestone’s FAQ Manager.

Before we get into the functioning of the Q&A tab, let’s first discus the filter bar that you will see as soon as you click on the FAQ Manager tab. 



Click on the Business name drop-down and you will see the list of locations of your business. Choose ‘All Profiles' if you want to see Q&A for all business locations, or select a certain location you wish to view Q&As. Click on ‘Apply' to make the change. 



Next, you can choose a location based on Country, State and City using the drop-down button. 



After this, you can view Q&A for a certain date range  




You can also choose a custom date range just by clicking on ‘Custom’. Choose the date range and click on ‘Apply’. 


The same settings be reflected when you login the next time. Click on ‘Clear’ to restore default settings. 

Let’s move on to the functioning of each tab. 

Q&A tab

Now, let’s get into how you can curate content on Milestone’s FAQ Manager tool. Click on the Q&A tab to view the screen. For the business location and date range selected, the page will display the pertaining Q&As.



Now, let’s get into what all you can carry out on this screen. 

To start with, click on the ‘filter’ button. As soon you do that, the option to choose a source and an additional ‘All Q&A’ filter will pop-up. 



Click on the drop-down for ‘Sources’ and choose a particular source you wish it view Q&As from. 



Now click on ‘All Q&A”, and view Q&As based on parameters such as New, Published, Sent to Publish, Draft and Ignore. By choosing a certain parameter, only the Q&As that fall under it will be displayed. 



For the Q&As displayed on the screen, you have the option of choosing to Hide or Delete the question by clicking on the 3 dots on the right of the screen.



Note: The ‘edit’ option will not be available for you for the question as it has been created by another user. 


For the Answer section, click on the 3 dots beside it on the right and you have the option of choosing to edit, delete or hide the answer



If you find any inappropriate content, you have the option of flagging it by clicking on the ‘Ignore’ button. First select the question and answer you wish to ignore by clicking on the box just above it and then click on ‘Ignore’. 



You can also choose to undo Ignoring the Question by clicking on 'Revert Ignore'



You also have the option of knowing the status of the Q&A. All you need to do is to hover over the icon of the source. In this case, it shows that the Q&A is pending and queued to be published on Google Assistant. 



Now move to the right of the screen and click on the drop-down of the double arrows. Using this option, you can schedule a post, convert Q&As into PDF or CSV and can bulk upload Q&A or download a sample Q&A file. 



Now, to create a custom question and answer and publish them to sources of your choice, click on the Custom Button   next to the filter button. 


Enter the custom Question and Answer and carry out the Custom Publishing method. Select the locations which you wish to publish the question, tick the source to publish to under ‘Publish to’, the ‘Publish’ button will then show up, click ‘Publish’. If you wish to cancel the custom publish click on ‘Cancel’ and to save the Q&A as draft, click on ‘Save as Draft’.

Note: Only locations that you chose using the filter on the main screen will be displayed here to choose from.


You can also use the ‘Filter’ button on the left of the screen, to narrow down on certain locations you wish to publish the Q&A to. Click on ‘Filter’. 



Then enter the details of the location such as country, state and city to choose a particular location.
