Yelp Insights Overview
The Yelp Insights tab displays key data of customer interactions, engagements, and so on, of your business on Yelp.
How do I navigate to the Yelp Insights tab?
Click on ‘Local’ on the MPC dashboard and click on ‘Yelp Insights’.
Choosing your filters:
Once you are on the Google Insights screen, click on the ‘settings’ button, and 3 options will appear – Chart Type, Group, and Widgets.
By clicking on the Chart type, you can choose a chart or layout that suits your preference.

You can choose the default setting, line chart, area chart, bar chart, and pie chart. If you choose a chart type apart from the default setting, it will change only if it is applicable and can display the widget in that particular format.
By clicking on the ‘group’ option, you can choose to view data for a day, week, or month.
On the Google Insights tab, you can choose to view the data of up to 7 widgets. Choose ‘all’ to view all the widgets or handpick that you wish to view.
Let’s now take you through each widget on the Yelp Insights screen and tell you what they mean:
1. Page View
This widget displays the source of the page views either from Mobile or Desktop.
Click on the sign to view the data for each business profile.
2. Customer Actions
This widget basically displays the actions of customers to reach your business in the form of calls (Call You), request for directions, visits to your website, messages to your business (Message you), and the total actions carried out by customers for the date period chosen. Click on the drop-down on the scorecard tile to choose the actions you wish to display on the screen.
Click on the sign to view the data for each business profile.
3. How Customers Interact with your business
This widget displays the number of customers that check-in to your business on Yelp, the number of users that uploaded photos of your business on Yelp, and the number of users that bookmarked your business on the platform.
4. Search
This widget displays the number of times your business appeared on Search either on mobiles or desktops and the total number of searches.
5. CTA Clicks
Here you can view the number of times that users clicked on your business CTA (Click-to-Action) button on desktop and mobile devices.
6. Yelp Insights
This widget displays the performance if you run a Yelp paid campaign. The widget will display your campaign spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions.
7. Paid Vs. Organic
This widget will display your Paid Vs. Organic performance of your business for your business to make a strategic decision on what’s best to improve your reach. Click on the scorecard tile drop-down to view Paid Vs. Organic actions carried out by customers.
